Selling his beaded art on the streets has a hard enough life as it is for a living. However, Mike studied handcraft in Zimbabwe before he fled to Johannesburg. He was one of the three million Zimbabweans who have emigrated from their home country to South Africa in search of work leaving his parents and friends behind.
