I think we can all agree that 2025 has not been a normal year for anyone by any stretch of the imagination. For some, it has been amazing. For most, it has been challenging, to put it mildly.
In equal measure, it has been beautiful, bold, emotional, chaotic, and absolutely unforgettable.
For LUC8K, what started as a vision in 2016 - rooted in craftsmanship, joy, and self-expression - has grown into something way more meaningful and powerful. We are now a lifestyle brand, a community, and a feeling you carry with you on your journey through life.
So, as we take a moment to pause and relax with a mulled wine or two, we can take a look back at all our achievements in 2025 with pride, gratitude, and above all, love.
LUC8K: A Year Like No Other
We never think small at LUC8K, and this year, we pushed ourselves to our limits both creatively and emotionally, because everything we do, we do with passion, with love, and with all our hearts. We lived, learned, evolved and had fun along the way as we challenged the norm and leaped out of our comfort zone.
Our mission this year was to make LUC8K less about our actual products, and more about how they actually make you feel.
Working with our designers in France, we continued to create pieces that aren’t just bags, but companions. Pieces designed to move with you, live with you, and collect stories along the way, as you work, play, travel the world, and everything in between.
New Partnerships That Mean The World To Us
It’s always fabulous to make new friends, and this year, we were proud to welcome Pagne Champagne from Copenhagen into our LUC8K World. We share the same values, sense of joie de vivre, and a love for the extraordinary. Sometimes, when the right people come together, that’s when the real magic happens, so watch this space next year for an exciting new LUC8K piece in collaboration with Pagne that we think will be absolutely delightful for warm Summer days…
At LUC8K, we care deeply about people and the planet, and with this in mind, we are humbled and excited to begin our new partnership with the Global Conservation Corps (GCC) — a nonprofit organisation that brings conservation to life through education, empowerment, and community transformation.
GCC don’t just protect wildlife across Africa, they nurture the next generation of conservation leaders through their Future Rangers Program - bridging the gap between local communities and the natural world. Thanks to the program, thousands of young people have been given the tools, knowledge, and unique opportunity to grow into stewards of biodiversity.

A Busy Year Of Globetrotting For Sophie
We can’t possibly recap 2025 without mentioning our favourite four-legged, long-necked Global Brand Ambassador. Sophie the Giraffe shared her wit, wisdom and amazing travel stories with us as always, and this year she went everywhere, from Thailand to Turkey and everywhere in-between.
She made friends with quiet luxury pioneers all over the world. The ones who inspire us every day. Her fearless exploration and adventures in unexpected places brought us moments that made us smile and feel inspired by the people she met along the way - the artisans, creatives, thinkers, doers, and responsible fashion lovers and makers all over the world.
Sophie reminds us that life doesn’t really have to be too serious, elegance can always be playful, and luxury can still have heart and bring us moments of joy when we least expect it.
Sophie didn’t just travel, she connected with the best of humanity, and through her, so did we.
Her passport is nearly full, but after a well deserved rest over the festive season, she’ll be back next year armed with her LUC8K Weekender bag and her favourite shoes for even more globe-trotting adventures. And, who knows where she’ll end up… :)

Wow, what a year. And, somewhere along the way in 2025, LUC8K became more than a luxury brand - we became a lifestyle. One that values travel, balance, movement, creativity, and especially self-care. One that understands that true confidence comes from within. That understands that modern luxury isn’t brash and loud, but quiet, intentional and truly meaningful.
Our community of wonderful, unique yet like-minded individuals showed us that you’re not just buying a bespoke piece, you’re choosing a mindset and a way to live your life the best way possible.
We’re leaping (and in Sophie’s case, trotting) into a new chapter, one that goes far beyond what you’ve seen so far. Yes, of course there will be new bespoke bags and exquisite LUC8K pieces. But, we are busy working behind the scenes to bring you so much more. We’ll let you into a little secret…early next year, we will be making an exclusive, stunningly designed yoga mat, only available for those who order early - the most discerning of our followers.
Because LUC8K is about how you move through the world physically, emotionally, and spiritually. It’s about grounding yourself. Taking space. Breathing deeper. Living better.
